Circe Link
More Songs!
Circe Link

Circe Link's debut is songs done in a charmingly retro style. She goes beyond mere recreation since they sound fresh and cool.

The lovely "Call Him a Thief" brings none other than Peggy Lee to mind. "I Like Knowing You Miss Me" pits some sharp words against a sweet and sunny melody. Steve Blacke's mandolin is a nice touch. "Wisteria" is a ballad that brings out the best in Link's supple voice. "Three Bells" is a delicate fifties style song. The closing "Every Blessing is a Curse in Disguise" is a laid-back, soulful treat. Circe Link sings her heart out here. More Songs! is a great debut.
