Uncrated Distant Star
Teenage USA Records

On this debut 7-song CD Toronto's Neck give us jangly pop with upbeat melodies, scrappy, fuzzy, noise and fun tunes. The lead track Lady Bug is lots of fun, as are the sudden pauses, swirls of noise and cool dark mood of Coup De Grace. I really like the vocals on the album; the effects used on them are really cool. The album could have used a bit more dynamics and a little less fuzzy recording, but overall the effect is a nice one.

There are a couple of great songs, a bunch of good songs and a really full sound with lots of lively instrumentals coupled with nice vocals.
