Jake Watt

Jake Watt is a singer/songwriter with a way with words and songs on this EP. "Shades of Grey" starts the proceedings with quiet wit and a strong tune to boot. "Generation Y" has a self-regarding and smart lyric about life, and is set to catchy tune. "Castaneda" is a song mentioning the writer and it's set to a soft backing with some neat flourishes.

"Holy Mother" ends the EP on a good note, Watt singing quietly but with great conviction. That goes for the rest of the EP as well. It's a strong record all told.
