Micropixie
The Good, the Beige and the Ugly
One little Alien

Micropixie is the alias of a solo artist who's made a strong album in the past. Her new effort is equally stunning and gives off a kind of cosmopolitan vibe.

"Superhero" is a humorous and yet grounded song with a loungey feel that she handles well. "Ones and Zeroes" is an almost jazzy song with charmingly girlish vocals. "Bullshit Paradigms" is a sharp critique of gender roles, set to a soft backing. The singer's words nonetheless carry a sting. She covers Radiohead's "Nice Dream" to great effect, a soft and dreamy version with gorgeous vocals.

As ever Micropixie looks at the world in her unique way and that makes for an engaging album.
