Agnes Mercedes
Melodic Fairytales
Sprak Sprak

Agnes Mercedes doesn't go the easy route on this album, far from it. She cuts up all kinds of sounds and lest them wander about without any real connection. It's definitely art, and not for the faint-hearted.

If you cut up a thousand songs and put them back together with crazy glue maybe this would be the result. I'm not sure what the unprepared listener will make of this, maybe they'll be out the door by the second song, or maybe they'll try to put Humpty Dumpty back together though it's impossible. This is what dead radio signals might sound like to alien visitors. Maybe we should send this into space to show what life is like on Earth.
