Ellsworth

I've reviewed Ellsworth's debut and found it very agreeable. His new album doesn't disappoint either.

"Like an Actor in a Play" sees him perform a simple yet stirring tune a in an acoustic style. "Saxophone" is a strong song with a higher tempo, as Ellsworth sings of strange goings on. "Up Above the World" is pleasantly bluesy, and the words are sharp and clear. Ellsworth watches the world go by and does so with a slight smile, even as he acknowledges the sadness.

"We Ain't Goin' Away" is also a nice song, Ellsworth giving it his best to a strong beat. He has a voice that's very appealing and an easygoing style that often masks a strong message. It's easy to like his music.
