Khristian Mizzi and The Sirens
Beautiful World
Vent

Khristian Mizzi has been around awhile but his band is relatively new. That might explain the freshness of the band's sound.

"Love Like Rainfall" is a sweet ballad that puts the emphasis on Mizzi's tender vocals and the lovely melody. "Fallen Trough" is very poppy and lovelorn and has a sweet side. Mizzi's vocals sound just terrific throughout and the ghost Wilco helped deliver walks through the room. "It's a Beautiful World" has a suitably strong lyric about persevering though adversity. Mizzi's message comes across well though it's been used before.

"La Ofrenda" sees the band play a strong, exotic song in a Bad Seeds fashion and it's very cool. It's a strong record all told.
