Michele Moreno makes chilled and languid electronica topped with her delightful vocals. She brings Dido and Zero 7 to mind on her debut.
"Trippin" is a relaxed groove with Moreno's delicate voice sounding just fine. It sounds slightly exotic and has a nice orchestration. "Dandelion" is another gem, Moreno's vocals dancing over a sinuous melody. "Golden Past" is beautiful, a soft melody taking focus. It recalls Portishead's best songs. "Nothing" is utterly lovely, Moreno singing of vague hope against a subtle backdrop. Moreno's debut is a sweet record.
