Pernille Vallentin is an actress as well as a singer and I think she proves that you can be good at both things. Her debut album is gentle and fluffy and she has a nice voice. "Stay Inside you" is a leftfield pop hit with enough individuality to shine. "Follow" is dusky and imploring in a Massive Attack way. "Kiss Your Demons Away" is softly soothing and has a familiar chorus. The album is smooth and likeable without being really remarkable. It's a good solid listen though and Vallentin might take more risks with future releases.
