Tina Malia
The Silent Awakening
Amida Records

Tina Malia's new album has a most pleasing sound, she sings soft and with real depth. The title song is a heavenly hush done in a unique style.

"Heaven" sounds like Sarah McLachlan all soft mood and interesting instrumentation. "Sound of the River" is rich and rewarding as Malia sings of finding yourself. The cover design and booklet is simply lovely, done in earth tones and with rich detail. "Beholding" is one of the strongest songs as Malia manages a moving observation on love. Tina Malias new album is the complete package; her songs really resonate.
