Boulevard
Vice & Daring
Self-released

Boulevard's music sounds very British despite the bands American origins. Singer Benji Barton has a theatrical delivery and the band play catchy glam anthems. "Marie" is an air-punching hit in waiting. Its exuberance is intoxicating. The intense "Dreams of Home" is very much like Bowie's space rock epics recast in the modern age. The Magnolia String Quartet adds tasteful strings to add to the songs epic grandeur. "Hand in Hand" is an addictive track that ends the EP well.

It sounds as grand as anything accomplished by a major label. Boulevard seems like contenders for the glam rock throne.
