Carlo Dean, a guitarist and composer and Dina Carpenito make up this group. They're joined by harpist Jessica Schaeffer for this record. Their music is minimalist and complex. Carpenito's soft vocals and Dean's skill with his guitar make it a lovely thing to hear. Some of the songs were improvised and the addition of a harp makes them special. "Still" is a soft hush with Carpenito's singing as sweet and beautiful as can be. "Concrete" is especially gorgeous and puts focus on the harp. "Balance" is another great song, Dean's fluent guitar playing perfectly underscoring the vocal. It's a brilliant debut from this band.
