Allison Sattinger
Allison Sattinger
self-released

It only takes a few plays for Allison Sattinger's songs to catch on. Her assured vocal style and calm music makes her a real find. "Miles" is a Ptruly sensuous song that brings out the singer's soulful voice in great fashion. It's instantly familiar yet fresh-sounding.

"Blackbird" has spine-tingling harmonies and is one of the standouts here. The sound is just right, nothing getting in the way of the fabulous song. "Sugar Daddy" is equal parts soul and sass with the singer hitting all the right notes. Allison Sattinger's debut ep is over way too quickly and I can only hope she'll make more records just like it.
